Welcome back, readers! When people think of streetwear, they usually associate it with hip-hop, urban areas, and maybe even NYC.
But there is one huge influence that has shaped streetwear. You’ve definitely seen it around, in your neighborhood, at a local park, or at a small shop on Lafayette Street. Yes, I’m talking about skaters. Skaters, or should I say skateboarding, have influenced streetwear in more ways than we realize. So I decided to do some research into the many ways streetwear shaped the culture and let you guys in on some interesting things that you probably didn’t know.
